Hayward, CA: Circus Vargas

I got hold of free arena tickets to the Circus Vargas, sweet! They actually move from one location to another every week. We went to see the one on Southland Mall.

Circus Vargas is an American circus based in California. It was built on the premise to bring an old time circus to everyone; currently it has been billed as one of the world’s biggest traveling circuses still using a big top tent.

We took the first show for the day, which was 5PM. I didn’t expect that there will be a lot of people. The tent was almost full. Good thing we arrived early. They allowed us to enter the tent around 4:15PM, so we were able to get good seats.

All the performers try to showcase their skills on the introduction number.

Juggling 3-8 balls and hula hooping dozen of hoops at the same time are real, mad skills!

I love this dancing/flying act… and the guy’s abs! Haha.

Family Garcia with the youngest lowrider at age 10.

Flying trapeze acts were cool too! The clown was funny as well and asks for volunteers to do some funny acts, hella funny!

Here’s the video of a portion of the act.

The balancing act was amazing!

I wish I could balance like that! Haha

And the last act was the human cannon ball. Cool!

This was my second time to watch a tent circus (although no animal acts). I can barely remember the first one since I was still small. I have to say it was fun all throughout!
